About
Deb Lebow-Aal, native plant guru and a board member of Front Range Wild Ones, and Avi Stopper founded Oasis in 2022. Deb spends a ton of time in her front yard, cultivating one of West Wash Park’s finest examples of habitat restoration. For years, neighbors asked Deb for help to do the same with their yards. And thus was born the Oasis Project.
At first, it was exclusively a volunteer project in West Wash Park, but as demand for habitat restoration grew, we added a paid crew and started serving other areas of Denver.
Our vision is a city transformed into a giant botanic garden, where you walk your dog in the morning through fields of wildflowers, buzzing with native pollinators and birds.
